Re: Mello Yello
I'm not the biggest fan of MK1's which is why I'm surprised. I quite like it!
Are those all wheels in the background? Hahahah. Any 14" Longchamps?

Yes, and 15" Longchamps. There is a pair XR4s Longchamp, and a pair Jilba Racing.Hobbawobba wrote:Are those all wheels in the background? Hahahah. Any 14" Longchamps?![]()

Getting ready for MOT next week, and Player's Classic @ Goodwood on the 17th. Moved oil cooler to a horizontal position.
Question - Does anyone know the operating parameters for oil temperatures?

Looking glorious
Anything over 95'C / 205F is danger zone according to Racing Beat. I have read tgat for the FD, 250F at the sump was the maximum tolerable limit when measured at the sump but was later revised down to 210F
Rx7 oil cooler thermostats open at 65'C / 150F and should be fully open by 82'C / 180F. 65-85C is therefore a normal operating zone when warm.MelloYello wrote:Moved oil cooler to a horizontal position.

Re: Mello Yello
Last post June 2017, so I am guessing some posts lost or I have been really slack - both are possibilities.
Any ways here is something to post up as a way of getting back into the new look forum.
Anyone looking for an "off the shelf" car cover then look no further. This is a great fit and even fits my door mirrors.

Them some fancy pyjamas.
