How did it end up with a trader? And who pay £900 for refurbishing wheels?!

yeah its a shame terryg149 has bought it just to sell it for a profit especially after only a month but I doubt anybody will buy it for nearly 5k as good as it is!

Spotted this on BaT and thought people would find it interesting. Noticed it today and the auction has ended unfortunately...

Hmm,up to £4000 now with 6 days left.
It,ll be interesting to see what it fetches.
I paid £900 to refurbish the 5 wheels to 'factory standard' as i'm err fussy!
The only blemish on the car when i sold it was a squashed midget on the front number plate!

it's a sign prices are rising when the dealers start getting back into them....... 5 years ago, you couldn't have given one to a dealer

That's bloody lovely. Immaculate too, considering it's a Series 1

it's the one that James was trying to buy... the dear who owned it wouldn't let it go for the price offered by James and then sold it at auction for much less.... it then ended up in the hands of dealer... shame she didn't sell it to a genuine enthusiast and make more money for herself into the bargain

be worth finding this out if it's true.
"This could very easily be the only surviving TWR Mk1 in the world!!"
looks nice but as i always say, show the pics of the rusty areas we all know exist, if you wanna sell for that kind of money.
