I defer to your undoubted tech skills Mr Tool.......I just never liked the look of the adjusters.
And I read on a previous forum about potential steering siezures if you do it wrong

Re: My Daily Driver
In days gone by, if the wipers stopped working a Potato was used in a emergency, cut in half & smeared on the windscreen, it acted like the modern day RAIN X additive, you must remember to keep changing them in your emergency parts box or else they go mouldy

Re: My Daily Driver
trip completed.
steering still has a slight bit of wander at speeds over 100kmh but a vast improvement over before.
the old engine absolutely loved the trip sitting between 2600-4000rpm in 5th gear the whole way,the temp gauge sat steady the whole trip just above the engine is warm mark.
p.s note made to pack a potato in toolbox for next trip

You also can take a apple with you. Is better cleaning and you can cut in a half and eat one so you are hungry.daily rotor wrote:p.s note made to pack a potato in toolbox for next trip
