It's a pity, the car is so far away from me. I'd really like to own it as my fourth car.
I would be happy about just owning the engine... There are no FBs in Austria with more than 115hp...
Good Luck with the sale!

thanks for the kind words, surprised you say there are no big BHP motors where you are, you should be the first!

Have you thought about swapping bits from the car back to standard, to free up cash so you can lower the price and still make what you want from it? Sort of a half way house between stripping and selling complete.
For example, the LSD is worth a bit, but a stock one to stick in it is worth pennies.
Wheels are a personal choice, yours would have a wide audience with that stud pattern and once again, stock rims are cheap and plentiful.
The seats and door cards are easy to pop out - once again, not hard to get a replacement set.
Moon roof is another obvious one - get any stock colour and paint it gloss black, would still go with the yellow.
You could even drop a 12a back in it!
I can help with some of the bits, as I am sure others could - the only major investment is time really, and if you have committed to stripping it, then you have already justified some of the labour....
Just a thought?

had considered that route, have a 12a sitting about but not many stock parts as they all got sold off to help others, just don't have the time to do it on a gamble, unless i had a strong buyer that would make it worth doing
i need to advertise it away from our own sites as obviously everyone has a rotary already! it should be going to pod in a couple of weeks so will get it cleaned up and on auto trader and a couple of others

I got a full grey interior, stock diff and a set of stock rims you can have for not a lot if it does cross your mind again..
The engine inc carb on yours has to be the big money and bulkiest item though, if you already have a 12a then that makes things rather more logistically easy - maybe see if there is any bites on just the engine at a price that makes sense to do it?
Good luck either way dude.
