£100 worth if you need some S2 parts, thats where I see it.
dunno about still in his system, I think he must be mainlining them...

since when did trade plates cover no mot?

ex mrc guests car...

"Here we have my mazda RX7, first off the rotary engines 12a.,recently saved this from being scrapped as the last owner had passed away..led to believe it had been in storage for the last 8 yrs, last owner was 2000- 2011...mega history, reciepts for a new engine, servicing etc dating back to 92...so it may be..the condition off this seems to back this up. it is in outstanding condition.......i recently fitted a new radiator, had the exhaust completely refurbed proffesionaly , new brake pads, fan belt , scrapped and stonechipped the complete underside off the floor with no welding required...and refinished the wheels .i have showed this car twice , thats the standard.

A you can see from the pics shes very clean, ,no rust patches visible anywhere on the exterior or on the interior off the doors etc .And she runs like a little sweety. as smooth as.really nice..... although the engine bay could do with a tidy as its a little scabby. temp gauge isnt working for sum reason, hopin to rectify this week. brake pad warnin light is on.although new ones fitted.. .Theres a small dent on the n/s rear quarter as in pic. Also it shows in the pic she may have been covered at one time as there are a few micro blisters visible on the roof due to condesation. .nothin major.also a small chip at the top off the n/s wing edge 2mill..had a few advisories on the mot, brake pipes . play in steering. etc . but as a 30 yr these things are expected.

AS for interior a small rip at n/s door trim and a 2inch patch on drivers door trim which i have glued and colour black.not realy visible. also a small tear in leather at floor on rear seat where it joins.just wear and tear (will glue) she smells like an old car.rear boot cover still pulls out and works.although when you hit a bump it springs back.....

motd 10mths taxed 4mths"

Everything about the description for the red one rubs me up the wrong way.

for example,
have showed this car twice , thats the standard
or the standard of the unmentioned show?

the white series 3 actually sold for the asking price, as its the one i went to see.
what put me off was a big dent in the chassis on the passenger side, a cracked windscreen and it was not
running.
those pics a year old, there were splotches of red primer along the a pillar, lower front, front of bonnent,
rear valance and along the bottom of the doors. the arches were like new though and the usual areas looked
quite good, sway bars etc.

unfortunately my offer was not accepted and some kid and his father bought it like it was for the 800.
i was concerned about the chassis dent, didn't feel right to me even though he said it passed MOT with it
and bought it out of england london like that. he drove it down to his but hadn't started it in 2 months so
would not fire for love nor money.

out side was very nice, looked like a professional respray. interior all good, except a patch of carpet about
12 inches were rear passenger's feet have worn away the carpet, plus it felt damp.
i was surprised at how the switches were all clicking very tightly, sunch as the lights etc.

it was my big chance to finally get an fb in the colours inside and out, but at £800 with no MOT or tax was a
bit of a risk. so i walked away and the other guys bought it, pity as was only an hours drive for me and friend
was gonna trailer it home, but i want a straight car underneath and not a potential MOT no go.

i also don't like the attitude of the red 1981 fb owner, like a p*ss aff if you don't obey my ways attitude.
such an attitude will never sell the car like that and all this i don't need the money blah, blah, blah.
well if not then take a decent offer, not say thats the price take it or leave it.

i was wondering if the purple one was a uk with jap import interior and pas, as the seats are different and it says
pas but usually the steering wheel is a square middle one, not the circle.

people moaned about the rx8 r3 using a round centered steering wheel, but it probably was their idea to bring a
little of the classic fb steering wheel into the design, like they did with other areas in the car.

hopefully something local will crop up again with MOT and running for around the 1k to 1.5k price, as bit annoyed
the white one had that chassis dent and wouldn't start as i'd have got it for £725 :) and just got her through the MOT.

does a crack on a windscreen at the wipers on the passenger side a fail in the MOT, as thought it was more the drivers side?

Small cracks outside the drivers field of view shouldn't be an MOT fail, though you do need to get them 'stopped' as soon as possible. Thats a tiny stress relief drilling at the end of the crack plus glue or whatever resin they squidge into the crack.

Gus has one, about 2" long, up from the drivers wipers. Stopped it about 5 years back rather than have all the bother of a new screen fitted.....it's been absolutely fine since.

White car looks good on the body but if it was a big chassis dent I agree you've got to ask 'what's this mean'?

Keep looking Mate, you'll get there.

the dent looked like this, yeah it was quite good on the outside and underneath maybe i should of taken a chance.
however i just wasn't sure and for a few hundred more might as well try and get a running car, not a fix er uper.
