Rx7 consept = lightweight front to rear nearly 50% to 50% cause of front middle engine.
V8 is the American way of Life. Not my way on Japan car constructed around a rotary.
But i like the sound of V8 .

There is not much better sounding than the low burble of a great big American V8, I had a Chrysler 440 CI (7.2 ltr) in a Jensen Interceptor that was just georgeous

you can't beat litreage.... it gives you the torque and flexibility..... V8's just don't suit 1st gen RX7's though, they are too big and heavy and upset the balance of the car plus a revvy engine suits the character of the car better...... I love v8's but not in a first gen.

I agree, the whole essence of the 1 st gen is the unique buzzy lightweight engine, without it its another jap sports car with a piston engine.

Aye, 'tis too. (As is 956 & 958)
957 has quite a late VIN No........ Car believed originally from Westleigh Main Dealers?
First seen 2002 in Baron's Sandown Park Auction.
Then again in 2011 and 2012 in Dingwall Area, Scotland. Mileage around high 90,000's at this time.
