Cheerio.
it's here Stu.... tempted? I am but I must stick to the plan and just fettle the Elford.... it's hard to resist though.... that'd be lovely with a 13bt in it!

Yep tempted but no funds & double garage :(

spoddy wrote:i see people saying to put a 13b into an fb. is the 12a not very quick, or is it just down to more power?
i reckon an fb is as quick as my mx3 which is a 1.5L 115 bhp, with the lighter weight would the 13b n/a
really motor?

Sure somebody will correct me if i'm wrong.
S3 fb 0>60mph 8.9 secs.

Not exactly quick by todays standards, but a free flowing exhaust,weber/dellorto carb/air filter/leccy fan should see the 0>60 mph sprint drop to 8 seconds or below, same as 2.8 crapri.

Red S3 looks quite nice. Wonder what the rear chassis is like?

Description:

VERY ORIGINAL rx7.

I have owned this car for almost 2 years with the intension of getting her on the road but have not had gthe time.
Car starts and drives - I unceased the brakes today so should be drivable, however wipers do not work.
Will probably need some sort of patch welding for MOT, but all in all very good on the body.
Sunroof and fron bumper will need painting.
Engine seems very good - I work for Mazda and have had technitians tell me compression is good etc.
Interior very good.

A Ha.....the R C Woods cars appears at last with a Reg...Good.

It was on Autotrader last July without a Reg being given. 'To Clear £1495' it said then.....
A little bit cheaper now.

not much cheaper though...or cheap enough..... a grand for a project with no mot that needs welding and paint?
it's worth half of that I'd say.
