you spend all that money to start replacing hard to get parts, i doubt she'll go
for that price.
i really think white, black, yellow and savana green look amazing, oh and blue.
the mint green isn't bad either they seemed quite popular.
the red one you had ian was a nicer red, i think its getting the black door and
sill/bumper trim to balance etc to your taste. say no more about the interiors
but that red interior is mad.
the blue scrapper looked a nice car in its day, if its the original colour.
It gets worse not only do you like opal[minty] green, but savannah green as well
Joking aside i actually like the 'greens',as you may of noticed others are not of the same opinion!

guess i am not old enough to know all the proper colour names, what greens where there in the 80's?
if any of you remember the 'mushy' pea car which had a rotten floor on ebay, last i seen it on the back of a car transporter along with a silver fb.
well that's what i call savanna green
viewtopic.php?f=32&t=117

well i rang a man who has the odd fb kickin about but he only has his own pride and joy.
a mint minty green with brown interior series 3. spotless for 3 grand,
he really loves the car by the way he spoke of it, sold it and bought it back again thats how much
he missed it. haven't seen it was just phoning to see what he had, but took my details and will see
what comes about and let me know.
kinda regret not taking a chance on the white one now as he was gonna help the guy get it going but he sold it while he was on hols, he put the radiator lecy fan in for him so knew the owner. said it was 90% original paint job too and he has a mint 12a engine which would have suited. nice wee car but agreed you need to get one going etc.
well he is planning on emigrating to canada next year so although a long way away, never know where it might end up

he said it was as clean as the youtube vid of maz1986 for some car show vid, where i got the pic of the minty as i call it green car the guy in the vid is driving.

just buy the best one you can afford and if you like the colour, that's all that matters.
We have a laugh on here because the lads know I can't stand green cars, but that's just my personal view... some people love 'em!
If this car came up cheap, would I be able to overcome my aversion to green?
No, I don't think I could... it's a lovely car though!

not as many over here so more expensive
thats a strange pastelly green that, an elford turbo?
wouldn't be fussed myself either, would look stunning in white or black though.
glad mazda kept brilliant black, using it still in the rx8. my mx3 is brilliant black, so easy to touch up lol.
i think my colour defs are as good as mazda, minty green etc when you see that colour list
winning blue, volicity red, galaxy grey etc, my sister thought they sounded great
yeah something hopefully will turn up, was showing a work mate the red one on ebay he isn't into mazdas or cars but thought she looked real nice, interior was cool too.
maybe a s3?

Ian discriminates against green cars,he's a greenist,as yet there's no law to protect green cars from ians wrath
I can't see opal green on the colour list above.
Ronnie if u do end up getting an fb,as ian says get the best you can afford, not many real good ones around,so i don't think you can be tooooooooooooooooo picky about colour.
If you'd like a fixer upper, loads out there in all the colours.

well heading to a big car show with my rx8 sat/sun.
big crowd of us meeting up, rx3, 7's and 8's and a few fb's.
gonna have some interesting chats and see what might be knocking about
ready for a new owner. one good thing is always someone who knows of an fb
or someone wanting to move it on.
most colours i like anyway, its the grey interior which i am not fussed on.
i really like the white in an fb and am starting to regret not taking a chance on the one
i went to see as where i am its twice the price for a runner. the more i think about it
the more depressed i get. god only knows when i'll get something, atleast i have my rx8
which keeps me smiling
