I found something I like on this car....the mirrors fold up. I actually met the maker of this kit car. I checked out an rx3 he had for sale 6 years ago. He made custom kits for all sorts, like putting corvette style lights on 80s toyotas. The look and style did nothing for me, but the quality of the finish was better than you would expect. Looks like the white paint was done to hide the shocking green, driven from the paint shop and left in a field again.

I never thought I'd say this but it actually looked better in green
It looks even more horrible now it's been painted white... what did they use? Emulsion?

How's the interior? I'm always on the lookout for bits in series 3 grey:
Console lid
Gearknob
Shifter boot

Hell id even wear the horrendous costs to ship door trims and seats to Australia if in excellent condition.

By the looks of the registration plate it is a 1983 so more likely to be a series 2

I have seen the interior and it was a crazy mix of brown and green chequered seats and i think a dark vinyl door trims, i am sure a brown.

Yes, it looked like it had been trimmed by Austin Powers on an acid trip

Thanks gents. The Austin Powers comparison conjured the image perfectly for me

I'll always keep an eye out for nice grey interior bits!
