My drivers rear wheel bearing has been noisy for a bit and getting worse so I bought the kit.

then I tried to fit it and fell at the first hurdle, I couldn't undo my brake union behind the brake cover. So I'll have to cut through the solid line and take it off. I've ordered some unions but I think I'll need to find another Flexible Line. I will try and re flare the old line, but I have a bit of spare tube in case that doesn't work. I thought about changing them all for braided but I'm too lazy.

If I've got a brake union that's rounded off.....and it does happen easily.....I keep a tiny little 'Snap On' Stillson wrench for such emergencies.
It's only about 4" long.....you know the thing, a USA style wrench like a 'Rigid', with sprung toothed jaws. My God it'll shift anything

Of Course. Maybe James hasn't used one
I would always use a brake pipe spanner. But sometimes you have to be prepared for the worst....

Brake pipe spanner would be the first thing to use.

Are these the things that get tighter with the more torque you apply? They look a bit broken when not being used as one of the jaws wobbles about slightly? If so, I've seen them be used before and are pretty good aye!

They're the things. USA seem to make the best ones.

I haven't updated for a bit, Slacking. I used a brake pipe spanner in the end, and had fun with the bearing and hammer and chisel before giving it to a friendly mechanic with a press. My clutch release bearing seems worse now the wheel bearing is silent

Also I have finally got the back seat out... and its rusty

not too bad, but not good either. I'm thinking of buying a welder and learning.
I have been slacking with the car, I drive it but barely touch it with a spanner.
My mates capri in the background, he's also an apprentice, and it's his daily

Some RX7 Friends, Black RX7s

It was cool to see an FB, FC and FD at the same place by chance

I went down to Goodwood FOS with Jesse, awesome day out! It was rotary heaven

We chatted to Kevin Doyle and his son patrick who own and race the old TWR RX7, and even managed a sit in it

Still sky high. I've kit seen a decent set of lowering springs yet to be fair.
Possibly the watts link but it hasn't moved much.
