Its been a while since i updated this but its alive and running - oil pressure is good.

I thought may have had some issues with it considering the car has been stood for 5 years in a shed with no oil or water in it.

Next is to make some brake lines up for the rear diff and bleed system and we are drivable

yeh no i plan to get it out and do some thrashing - ohhhh and it does some mad flamage on decel i think thats got to do with the 2.5" into 3" exhaust im running hahahah

depending on how the weekend pans out bumble bee might get its first taste of the road in over 6 years!!!

So now have the clutch selecting gears and its ready for a little dry test..

also picked up the elford kit i bought but it seems the front end needs some decent work on it and the imbecile who drilled holes with a 10mm drill bit to fit what looks to be house down lights needs to be shot!!

If any one has any elford lamps spare or in no need of them im chassing some..






Lower needs some tlc..


Does anyone have any good fibreglass contacts or any good links to how best fibreglass something like this as i havent worked with it before and not sure if u should attempt or just pay a professinal to sort it ..

house hold downlights? that's a proper bodge..... what kind of a dick would fit those to a car bumper?
Fibreglassing is a messy, time consuming activity, the stuff to repair it ain't cheap either...... I'd pay to have it restored. Elford spoilers are an asset and will always fetch a few quid.... worth having it done properly I think.

J at Super 7 Autos http://www.super7autos.co.uk/ has some pretty natty skills with the fibreglassing and he has a proper paint booth there too. That's who did mine, no way was I gonna get into trying to do that. I've done structural fibreglassing and it's a horrendous job, no way would I trust myself to anything cosmetically vital like a front bumper. Super 7 are about five miles outside Brighton if that's any use?

Yeh I think this bumper will need some work and I think it will come up ok...

Thing is it looks like its had the stock holes where the normal cine lights usually go and then been butchered.. And it's also had the squirters for the head light covered also...


I thought as much it was Jason's place our pics were at as I've been down to is place - might drop him a line as I need the rear bumper and also some other bits..
