series 2 for sale in London, £3900

Seller's Description
Very good condition, excellent interiors.
90k miles, engine with very good compression after compression test performed by a rotary specialist.
The engine starts and runs great, both when hot or cold and pulls really hard.

Being an honest person, here's the negative notes you must be aware of:
Oil pump front cover has a minor oil leak. The intake manifold gasket needs replacement cause of a minor coolant leak.
Both issues can be addressed without removing the engine.
Would benefit from a new distributor and a coolant flush too.

The body is solid, had it check for rust and only remarks are some bubbles on the rear sills and rust on the near side door (lower part).

The car has new tires, brake pads and both belts have been just replaced too.

Contrary to the extra majority of the sellers out there, you are making a purchase knowing exactly what's good and what requires attention. No nasty surprises here.

It's priced to sell at £3900

This is a yellow Jap import with a series 2 interior.
I am sure this car was for sale a couple of years ago but at a lot more money.

Very cool, I'd love an S1, any idea how much it was before? It's not exactly cheap now, even if it's cheaper.

What a great looking car. I would have this in a heartbeat if circumstances allowed! An interior retrim Into the Savannah tartan (from memory) would really make this stand out too.

Good spot Kev, it was last up for sale in 2016 and was first noted on the 1st gen register back in 2010. A 1978 JDM car that was imported to the UK by an ex military guy in 1987.

James, I think it was for sale at about £8k .
Not so cool with a mark 2 interior but a rare car.
