the switch next to the heated rear window switch..... allows you to raise the lights without having the headlights on for when you wash the car.... so you can clean them without flattening the battery... the same switch works the headlamp washers tooKiwiDave wrote:Nik

I tried loads of things to get them off and eventually discovered that unplugging that connector turned them off, very odd !
LOL It was the name you gave it that threw me but I see what you meant now. I've always meant to get around to breathing life back into the lamp washer system.. it's a shame that it's not particularly easy to get at.Lucky wrote:What he said, lolian65 wrote:the switch next to the heated rear window switch..... allows you to raise the lights without having the headlights on for when you wash the car.... so you can clean them without flattening the battery... the same switch works the headlamp washers tooKiwiDave wrote:Nik

Only half-right, mine didn't work the washer even when I still had washers...never did work out what was broken and I guess I never will now. One day I'll even get round to stripping the tank and that out

So that connector is purely some sort of elaborate electrical bridge? That seems insane, on every level
What, Cutting it up?Hobbawobba wrote:Mine stay on too.
