Sometimes their estimates are way off (usually pretty good), I was looking at a car with a 12k estimate last time, started bidding at 18 and sold at 30.

That’s surprisingly low for Mathewsons, their prices are usually higher than retail. I used to buy from there until the tv series took off, since then they are too expensive.
Their buyers and sellers fees have soared too.
My SLK daily driver I bought from them a few yrs back, got it at a good price back then but that was when Derek ran his auctions from the local village hall.

That one sold for £6000.

The new owner who purchased this £6000 bargain was in contact with me in regards to wheels I have for sale nice guy I convinced him to come to jdmcombe this year let's see if he makes it
