That bloody dance nearly killed me
It has surprised me how much wiring I can now remove from the car after doing this swap aye! At a later date after I've got it running of course. Have you already removed a bunch of yours?

As I've finally got some time on my hands I've had a look at this car and started to get it ready to sell later in the year. Got it up and running but the water pump was leaking and squealing so and taking the fan pulley off revealed one of the tell tale signs of a knackered pump...
I had a bit of luck in finding a genuine Mazda pump on Ebay for £35 delivered...
Stripped the old pump off...
and the water pump housing...
Cleaned the housing up and gave it a coat or POR15...
I'd kept the gasket templates I'd made from the last time I did a pump swap on a S3...
So made some new gaskets...
Got the housing and pump back on...
Fan back on...
Job done...
