Sensor and drain plug location are the same so i expect so - bolt pattern looks the same too.

Looks a pretty damn good copy for custom one, its made from pressed steel and normally low volume manufacture would be welded and squared off.

I think MR TOOL is asking if the depression in the sump that holds the bulk of the oil is at the front of the pan

Yeah, that's it.

RX2s had a rear bump sump. So, if that sump mounts backwards on a 12A it would be for an RX2 cos the banana crossmember gets in the way.

RX3s and other early rotaries had front bump sumps. FCs etc changed again.....blah blah.
Sorry, I like the old stuff

MFR = Mazda Factory Race (just in case that wasn't clear)

OK I understand what you mean. It´s a front bump sumps. Perhaps MFR could be.
Perhaps a special sump with sensor for the cold start equiment sub zero you find in Northamerika and Canada?

I changed to the filter mount with the bigger hole, hope it´s better with the higher oelpressure.
now the cooled oil reaches the engine lower port.

I wanted to know how the oil pressure sensor works. As you can see the senor adjustment is possible.
