I don't suppose you have a pic of it fitted to the car so I can reference the mounting points?

Re: Saving My 81 RX7
I haven't got a photo of it fitted, sorry. It's that clean because it just came back from the platers having been re-galvanised and the only thing that's happened to it since is a couple of coats of Hammerite. If I had the sodding car back, I could bolt it back on and take some photos. lol
Re: Saving My 81 RX7
I agree, Ian! Then again it is also the only one I have seen.... All 4 other RX7's here don't have the tray either.
Thanks for the help Lucky, you have made my job a lot easier already. Where is your car at the moment?

Re: Saving My 81 RX7
Hey Guys. Does anyone know where I could get an aluminium radiator for my 81 as mine is starting to become end of life and the cheapest shipping price I have found so far is $280 just for shipping....

Re: Saving My 81 RX7
Why not fit a S3 rad and a S5 oil cooler up front?
Good upgrade and a fraction of $280.

Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......
Re: Saving My 81 RX7
Would love to look at that option! Any idea as to the cost of the Rad and Oil cooler and shipping to South Africa?
That's the main issue... Cant find parts here in SA.

Sorry, I forgot where you are.
Just get yours re-cored. There's plenty of places in SA that can do that.

Re: Saving My 81 RX7
I was going to suggest a re-core. I had one done over here a few years back. Cost about £110 and got effectively a new rad back for that.
(I thought you might only consider a new aluminium or similar item)
