after finding "rust sprouts" under the factory paint on the hood I spent the better part of the day today sanding.....then removed the hood, ospho till the painters ready to seal it...then work out the little stuff. so I snapped a few of the engine bay of how its currently running (starts 1 pump no choke any weather, idles nice)

so I'm seriously not liking the air cleaner on the car....and I have a megasquirt pnp for a s5 t2....so y no get a 4bbl->gm tbi, drop in a 2nd gen cas, run the 6al's on the 2nd gen coils and FI Cricket?

accomplished a few things today, new rear wheel cylinders so I could put the brakes back on, new clutch master cylinder got installed and bled, filled the rear diff 50/50 castrol synthetic 80w90 and 1 quart Lucas synthetic, and finally got her off the stands and back on the ground!



also, as you know I have disliked the air cleaner....so I did something about it. cut the bottom out and welded in one that fit the Holley,and knowing the Holley can pull more that the inlet would allow I added a few holes. I plan to add tubing to the snorkel and run to nose area for cooler air. but here it is fitted, ill add more pics if ya need to see how I did it



next up is exhaust! have to do some overtime to purchase the sched 40 tubing, but I am quite sure some...if not all...will enjoy!

since exterior is getting done to the final steps



I decided to get the interior caught up as well, everywhere I could get to without removing everything was stripped to bare min,
I stitched welded the main seat rail supports and stitched the floor pan seam as well, scuffed sanded, and rattle can primed the floor in the car.







and a little dress up stuff for the car, as you all know carbon fiber parts don't exsist....well my coworker does hydro-dipping and doing the exterior trim pieces of my choosing for free!
first are the door handles, after seeing these I had to have more

so this is all im having done, if I dont like I have spares!
