Did it myself, nothing special, just a decent quality Carnauba wax - I have a tin of "Surf City Barrier Reef Wax" I bought a few years back, almost finished now though.

KIMI 2 in for her MOT test today.............................
I've also asked for the garage to remove the ss exhaust manifold to do some welding, as the rear flange weld has given way around the entire circumference and she been blowing a bit. I've supplied a spare (used) manifold gasket in reasonable nick if the original has had it.
I'm trying a different garage to the one I've used for the past 6 years, as this one is walking distance from my home and the original one has had a lot of personnel changes. I'm hopeful after some long chats to one of the experienced mechanics there and one of the family owners of the business.
Fingers firmly crossed as I've not had a good look up underneath KIMI 2 this year {insert "embarrassed" emoji here} and hoping the tin-worm hasn't got a firm hold anywhere!

				MOT passed with no advisories!
Wow, I was hoping for that result, but wasn't necessarily expecting it.
The mechanic was very complimentary about how clean it was under the bonnet

Even after all these years, the exhaust manifold apparently come off without a fight for the welding work on the flange.
Yippee!!
