It doesn't have the Mazda air con button in the centre console, so guessing it's a Tim special or something.
I notice it has UK mirrors and rear panel too

SA22C and in the lowish part of the 650000 range so that seems to check for an early UK S2
So I guess the A/C is maybe an aftermarket thing? Maybe Elford fitted A/C to factory cars as an option if they were building Turbo cars to order?

I think that's unlikely but stranger things have happened. If you look at the centre console pic, under the dash between the blower motor and the console is a black box.... that looks like an air con evaporator to me... on the 1st gens it sits between the blower motor and the heater box. Is there any such thing as an after market air-con setup for one of these? I've never seen one.
According to dvla the tax ran out on it on 01.01.2003

Tim's probably pulled it off a series4/5. Look at the awkward bend in the hose - it's too long for the engine bay. Retrofit
They guys spent about 300 getting it up and running.

1984 series 3 project on ebay
sellers description:
Hello there unfortunately I am selling my once was very much loved Mazda Rx7! it has a brilliant engine and gearbox, and I had the underneath restored about 5 years ago! it looks better on the underside than the paint on the top!
My old car has been in the barn for the last 5 years after my first son came along, and I no longer had the time or money to continue working on it! We then had another child which made the mazda a last on the things to do list!
I now have to give up my storage in the barn, it is now outside, and it needs someone to finish it, or pass the Mot and get Tax and use it at least!
I started it up after a year of not seeing it, and it fired up first turn of the key! as it always did do, I drove it around the private lane, and it is very tempting to sell a kid and put it back on the road! I am not sure that ebay or my wife would allow that though!
I have owned 2 other of this model before which I took every part off them I could to keep as spares for this one! There is lots here and some of the items are! a couple of sets of stainless original full exhausts, carbs, distributors, coil packs window regulators sunroof, bumpers, wheels, Seats, belts, trim, headlights, indicators, lots of bits and pieces to keep this on the road! I think it is best it all goes as a package to someone who would like a fun and fantastic almost classic sports car!
The parts alone I could split and sell for at least £350
The exterior paint job is rubbish, faded as usual paint from that era! My next project was the rubbing down and full respray, just cant afford too!
I would love this car go to someone who wants a restoration project, and just to keep the RX7s alive! any questions welcome! come and look, will be very sad to see it go!
"The parts alone I could split and sell for at least £350 "....... more than the car then!
