Few around at the moment with what we'd consider a higher price. Maybe prices are on the up?

relisted again....... £300 start........ getting a bit more like it........... the front & rear Elford spoilers are worth 200 quid so he's getting nearer the mark......... maybe the engine has a couple of decent housings in it?

Lol, I think the steering wheel might be my fault. I emailed and asked if it was in good nick and if so, how much. I thought it was an S2 cos I just read the description on here and didn't look closely at the pics (that's what you get for trusting people on internet forums hahahaha

) and I want an S2 wheel. Got an email saying it was gone, then the next day (by which time I'd realised it was an S3 anyway) got another saying it hadn't gone, was in good condition and would be listed with a Buy It Now. Which it then wasn't. For like five days anyway. But for that sort of price, frankly they can poke it, even if it had been the one I wanted

good honest description too...
Up for sale is my mazda rx7fb series 3. I've owned it since April 2010 and it was run on a regular basis until the MOT ran out in September of that year. The only reason it was not renewed was due to a lack of time owing to a young family. Since taking ownership it's always been garaged and I've kept the engine ticking over. The previous owner was an auto electrician who apparently had the carb rebuilt and welded a small patch in the drivers footwell.
I was informed it had a respray by another owner in 2007 (which is a very bright shade of white), at which point any rust present was treated. Looking underneath it has been heavily coated in underseal so can't really see the true state of it however some of it flakes off now and there is evidence of surface rust reappearing in small areas on some of the arches and also a small patch above the drivers door.
The engine runs very well and has not missed a beat in the 800 or so miles I covered.
GOOD POINTS
Rebuilt carb, glass sunroof, runs well, reliable, powerflow back box.
BAD POINTS
Some rust coming back, elec mirrors not working, aerial not working, (last two may be easy fixes, just not had time to look), the brakes have been bled as the rear calipers were seized, one has been rebuilt and whilst doing the other a thread within the piston snapped and so has been left as the piston will need replacing, no battery, wheels could do with a refurb, no MOT, no tax so will need to be trailered away.
All in all not a bad car with a bit of TLC, ideal project car for someone with a bit of time.
worth every penny of the starting price too.... especially in view of the daft money that s2 ruin sold for yesterday.
Good luck Paul, I'd be very tempted myself if it wasn't at the other end of the country.

Thanks Ian, must have missed that S2, what did it fetch?. I fully appreciate I'm not going to get back what I paid for it which is why I believe it is priced reasonably. David, not sure if you heard but I ended up buying YOI 283.
