Thanks Ian, must have missed that S2, what did it fetch?. I fully appreciate I'm not going to get back what I paid for it which is why I believe it is priced reasonably. David, not sure if you heard but I ended up buying YOI 283.

Lol, I think the steering wheel might be my fault. I emailed and asked if it was in good nick and if so, how much. I thought it was an S2 cos I just read the description on here and didn't look closely at the pics (that's what you get for trusting people on internet forums hahahaha ) and I want an S2 wheel. Got an email saying it was gone, then the next day (by which time I'd realised it was an S3 anyway) got another saying it hadn't gone, was in good condition and would be listed with a Buy It Now. Which it then wasn't. For like five days anyway. But for that sort of price, frankly they can poke it, even if it had been the one I wanted

not me, I did think about having a speculative punt on it but then common sense prevailed..... I've already got one Elford turbo on the road and another under construction....... I'd be like some meglomanic, seeking world domination of the Elford market if I bought another.
I have to say though that if i was after a bit of a project and i wasn't already stacked out with cars, I'd definitely have a dabble with this. Also, I do like the blue s2 Elfords..... most of the Elfords I saw back in the day were blue s2's, for some reason.

when i seen the wheels i immediately thought of the site and you guys lol.
i knew you'd like it ian, it made me think of the post you had where there was a pic of one on a stand at a car show.

i'd love it, but its too far for me as usual lol and i've just spent a lot on my rx8, mind you my mpg is up and brakes perfect.
driving to work was lovely today lol.
