a private seller was trying to sell it for £4300 back in 2009 ...... the price steadily dropped to around £3500 I think and it still didn't sell. Keith had a gander at it and reckoned it wasn't worth £4300...... probably worth it's current asking price though.
James posted a pic of it driving up the road last month.

oh i remember the pic now that you mentioned it. still not bad if ok underneath and the main areas
for the asking price, i suppose you can deal etc as needs some road tax to drive away.

it looks lovely in the photos but as we all know, the digital camera has been a gift from heaven for the online car seller. Someone has has their hopes and expectations dashed if they were originally asking £4300 and then presumably only got a figure less than the dealers retailing the car at now.
Can these cars get much cheaper?.... must be the bargains of the classic car world at the moment...... oh, sorry, they aren't classics are they, not according to Classic & Sportscar magazine.

Set of Compo MOs looking like a bargain ATM http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/COMPOMOTIVE-M ... 2ebcf74028 S3 fitment, though not sure if the slightly ghey offset and increased width may cause strut-wheel interface issues?

EDIT.. even more manly, strictly for anyone planning a wide-arch job, these reek of cool http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/15-WHITE-DEEP ... 1e6d0a28b1 Someone please buy these and make the car fit them, prove it's not only the V-dub boys who can roll quality Borbets lol

When I looked at WOM it was looking very sorry for itself, I couldnt see the interior as all the windows were dripping with condensation, it must have been piss wet through inside. There were streaks of orange rusty water running down the sills from the rear arches that had been bodged and blown over.
It looks very nice in the pics above though, someone has done a bit of work or its a ringer :o

was it a cold morning you seen it, hence the condensation. reminds me of my mx3 some mornings when its freezing cold lol and the sun hasn't ventured
to where it is parked yet to clear off the condensation.

orange rusty water doesn't sound good, but then you'd be more annoyed if the price was £4300. at £1375 with a long MOT and running engine its worth a go.
the interior looks pretty tidy, but like ian says the digital camera is a sellers dream making everything like new.

white does look cool in an fb :)
