A couple of S1's have appeared on the MRC Forum. Taken into someone's yard in Wiltshire as a trade-in or something like that.
Ones White and t'other seems to be Silver.
The big guy on the bonnet is a yard employee? He likes it!
They are for sale I think......TRIND-FD on MRC Forum is the guy with the info.

Trinder-FD aka Keith is a good cat. I've got his number if anyone wants to contact him.
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......

yeah, +1 for Keith being a sound fella
Interesting, that grey one appears to have half a turbo sticker on t'front. Or perhaps even a whole turbo sticker that's only half-in the picture
Non-standard font and that, is it a home-brew conversion or did they just put the sticker on and leave it at that?

Lol, cos you don't have enough S1s in a state of undress already, Tim
I fear for that white one, it seems to have plenty rust in all the places they don't normally rust... doesn't auger well for the places they do normally rust

Lol yeah well nothing ventured nothing gained. In all seriousness though, I'm not really viewing for my benefit but more for the benefit of anyone a bit further away who might fancy an S1 but can't make it down to view.
I'll report back with photos.

Re: The latest 1st gen RX7 sightings...
i'm very far away, the white one looks like it has good arches. what lies beneath though...
one question i have, if the bit where the rear inner wheel arch that has a small circular hole to the opposite side
of the sway bar plates, ie the tail end of the inner arch has a bit missing and you can see part of the fuel tank, i take it
that it needs plated and welded?
i'm trying to see whats acceptable rust wise in an fb for passing the MOT. i know all rust is bad though, but getting them
rust/rot free can be difficult where i am.

Sounds like the back end of the rear chassis Spod? If that's holed by rust then yeh, it'll have to be sorted.
Something you've seen?
