Hi,
I am the proud owner of an highly modified 85 Rx7. I've managed to put a 373 SBC, a ford 8.8 rear, and basically all of my free cash for 1.5 years now and still haven't been able to drive it more then 30 seconds. As it is a jigsaw of a car, you would think the issue lie with the drive train I stuffed in there, but basically evertime I have driven it, I have found that something else from the MAzda part of the car is either, broken or worn out. I am current'ly rebuilding the struts as the left fron was collapsing and the wheel well was only sitting about 1/4 of an inch of the tire. I am hoping to turn to someplace whhere they have some technical info on Rx7 as the system of buy the wrong part first, rebuy the correct part again is breaking my bank! :D

You can check out some of my pics, and trials and tribulations on my face book page below.

Hi there, and welcome. I don't Bookface so I can't see your build but from the one photo that does work it looks like quite a beast you have there. As my second love after rotaries is big American V8s I can appreciate the attraction there. And yes, Mazda's habit of changing parts at random for no good reason other than they can is extremely annoying at times
