For those intending to 'trailer' an Elford or a rex with a similar type of low front spoiler please note that the easiest method to prevent the spoiler from catching the ramps is to place a bauk of timber of 6" x 3" with suitable length under the ramp. Putting it under the ramp means that the weight of the car as you drive on or off forces the metal ramp down onto the timber which prevents it from slipping with the movement ....... did the trick for me anyway.

it was due to swing by here on it's way home yesterday for me to drool over it, sadly, I got dragged into work on a Saturday 
so drooling will have to wait a while . Looks the biz though Cliff, is the plate staying on it now?

She was pulling over on the motorway as we were passing your turn off but with a little persuation managed to steer her towards her new home.
Don't worry you wont have to drool too long.
Alas I have to report the number plate is not staying as the owners wanted to retain it so I am looking at another option but want to wait ubtil a replacement number is assigned (TOF 7Y was the original registered number) - who knows it might possibly be a little special ?
Yeah sheit does look really good but there are a few minor niggles which shall have to be done to make her like new again - i.e head banging rear hatch struts don't always work ....... ouch (haha), broken analogue clock.

You shall she her in the metal one day for sure as I do intend to get to some events nxt year (at last).
If you notice the car on the trailer, there is very little room either side between the door and the trailer wheels ......... yes you've guessed correctly - there was/is only one route in & out of the car. Well this didn't bode well for a 6' wide oh I mean tall elderly person and if only there had been a digital recorder there at the time - what a picture it would have made and definitely what a laugh watching me struggling in and out of the hatch ...... what a head banging experience that was.
