Hi,

Sorry my laptop battery gave up last night as I was posting the reply.

Codge, registration is KAR347Y.

Ian65, kind of. It's two-tone blue. I've seen some pictures of a near identical Elford on the forum.

Cheers,
Neil

Neil,
excited to see this car turn up on the forum, I wondered what had happened to it. We think that your car was the 1983 British Motor Show car..... Elfords, as far are we are aware, only produced 2 series 2 Elford Turbos in that special gradient blue paint scheme and both were for the motor show at the NEC.....
Johnnyboy on here owns what we believe to be the 1982 motor show car and yours would be the show car from the following year.... unless you have any different info on it?
Thomas, one of our members from Germany came over to a meet years ago and took some photos of your car...

he also took some of the engine bay etc, they are here...

Interesting stuff............. Johns car is completely original, just as it came off the stand and is a nice point of reference..... I've seen it in the flesh and that 2 tone paint job is stunning.

So all I would grovelingly ask for now is a very rough location. A wide area is fine for our location list.
