I did try to find a build thread to stick these4 pics on but can't see it for looking, hence this new thread. Anyway, Mick asked if I could bung up some pics of the new wheels on his car so here they are. Looking mighty fine, I reckon

Looks purposeful Nice dish action on those wheels too.

Inevitable question time. Is that a modded TWR rear spoiler or some other flavor? And where did the hoops come from? I assume they were modified to fit?

Do you know the wheel and tyre specs for reference?

I thought that you wheel guru types knew everything?

What I meant to ask was ... where did the flares come from and were they modified to fit?

yes its still the twr spoiler! i removed the bottom section as I think it looks more sporty & I was quite surprised there was hardly any rust only a couple of penny size patches, got the wheels of carl Hayward which were on his widebody fb. cheers ps . it would b great to meet up sometime.

I will make it happen Mick. I am off work March 30 thru April 5 so hopefully sometime aeound those dates??

Did you remove the spoiler from the car first? How easy was it to get off? I need to remove mine to get at the aerial and replace it.

And I know I have some rust under the spoiler too Yours looks fairly rust free ... shows it's been well cared for in the past.

And where did the flares come from Mick? A bit of work required to get the fronts to fit with the bodykit I guess?

Not me, Dave. I just have a Photobucket account, lol. I did try to make the best of the pics in Photoshop but I suspect they were taken on a mobile and so there just isn't the detail to bring out, unfortunately

I think Mick uses an i phone for pics? There's a photobucket app for i phone / android which looks like it will allow direct posting from a mobile device.
