As it was taxed from yesterday, today I had time to get it out, fit the new battery, started first time. So with 36043 miles on the clock lets see how many I can add this year.
Now looking forward to retro rides .............. OK I know its not until the end of Aug but that will soon pass ................

I don't see that being a problem ................the roof that is the mileage now that's another thing ...............

don't think so as only 3000 allowed with my insurance ........... I don't think I've done 3000 in the last 10 years .......

Just had A7RXY MOT'd passed with flying colours again............... well it has done 77 miles since last year ...............


Talking of colours I thought I would give the old boy a bit of a polish, below is what happens after 29 years of polishing. I've now gone thro' the paint. Do I now have it blown in or leave it, as this car has never had any paint work done on it, so all the paint work is as it left the factory just 29 years older ....................

good news on the mot Dibs.... you'll probably do more miles than that in one day when you go to the retrorides meet.
That's a bit of a mare about the paint.... Marc is our resident paintwork guru so he's probably the best person to advise you.

I took A7RXY for its MOT today passed with no Advisories. On these new MOT's they note the mileage over the last 4 MOT's mine are as follows.

08/05/2015 36166 miles
15/05/2014 36080 miles
27/05/2013 36003 miles
17/03/2012 35922 miles

This year with Retro Rides I hope to do more than 100 miles this year .............
