Brake line adapters and braided lines

Hello all,

I just got a LSD diff with disk brakes out of a 83 GLS along with the complete front strut assemblies. They are going on my 79 and from what I understand the brake lines have different thread types. Does anybody know what each car has as far as thread size? Are there any suppliers for braided brake lines or will they need to be custom by a local shop? Should I swap any other break components to make it work right or will the 79 model stuff work fine with the rear disks and newer front calipers?

I have found a lot of stuff referencing the differences in the thread sizes but not really explaining how they got around it. The only exception was a fellow that swapped the entire brake system, hard lines and all, on to his 79. That is not a really an option for me.

Any info would be appreciated,

Thanks,
Howie
