Electrical connections to carb

Just wondering if I still need these 3 power feeds to the carb? Rats nest is gone so all the other redundant connectors went to vacuum cntrols valves which are similarly deleted now. That just left connectors for oil pressure, water temp, oil level, alernator, water pump (temp sensor for electric choke), and these three. Anyone know what they are for?

That left hand connector onto the barrel thing is connected to the 'richer solenoid'. Its a long plunger on a wobbly spring if you undo it.
This connection gives a momentary feed to the solenoid as you change gear (ie as you come off the throttle quickly). It's function as I understand it is to reduce backfiring in the exhaust as you come off the gas quickly.
Don't know whatb the others do offhand.

I believe the middle arrow with the thick coating over the wire connects up to the engine temp telling the idle up/choke to switch off. Is it going to the round box with the wound metal pring thingy?
Good technical jargon there!

Yep that wire goes to the rear of the carb and into a round box which may or may not contain a wound metal spring thingy
Next question. This is the anti afterburn solenoid.

It is on a bracket which is attached behind what I believe is the accelerator pump(citation needed). This solenoid has a tube which I assume goes to a vacuum source. I have arrowed where the tube attaches. Can anyone tell me where the other end of this tube goes please? I am trying to cap off all unused vacuum sources. Thanking you muchly

The solenoid is on the secondary vacuum actuator. Take it off and bin it.
It would have connected up to the rats nest I expect.

Secondary vacuum actuator .. Thanks for that.

Knowledge bank updated.
I am going to bin it, I just want to double check on where the tube from the solenoid went to originally so I can sign off on any rogue vac sources. When I removed it, I noted that there was no tube attached and there should have been. It's more for my peace of mind so I can be sure I haven't missed capping off a vacuum source. If it was meant to go to the rats nest then I'm in the clear anyway. Please excuse my OCD
Photo would be even better

Someone must have the stuff still in place .. if you wouldn't mind .. pretty please?

Upon some in depth research this evening (trawling thru Lucky's photos of Safka's engine bay) I have concluded the following ... a) the arrowed connection point for the afterburn solenoid tube is incorrect

and b) it was originally connected to a part which I've never had anyway.
Third pic down gave me the answer

So, thankyou Nik, thankyou Mr Tool. Case is now closed.

Mine is fairly unmolested (minus Air Pump) so hope these photos just taken help:-
regards Pete

Thnx Pete. Very helpful but for different reasons. Have filed for future reference.
