"Moog idler arms have an internal wear take-up spring that absorbs shock and vibration for smoother, safer movement and maximum durability. A patented pressed-in cover plate eliminates excessive play and allows for tighter tolerances. These idler arms use powdered-metal gusher bearings with grease grooves to improve performance and service life. This approach allows grease to flow through the bearing to the stud and provides a smooth, durable surface that extends service life. Moog idler arms also use a double-tapered bearing design that decreases deflection and helps preserve proper toe setting, and they have a larger bearing surface area that distributes the load more evenly."

supposed to be the bees knees but are they worth the expense? (£69.00) shipped

I thought it would be more than that, would be good to get feedback from someone who has one.
If they are good I'd certainly be interested in one.

I know the racing guys use them but being bearing based, they should be 'fit and forget' and take some of the looseness out of the steering.... idler arm bushes, even genuine Mazda, don't last 5 minutes.
If we order 2 then the price is as follows:

Price each £34.58

X2 £69.16

Shipping £41.30

Pre paid vat £22.09

Total £132.55...... so £66.00 each delivered

Ian if you want to share the cost further then I would also be interested, anything that can stiffen up the steering can not be a bad thing.

No, we checked with the supplier and they're not reversible to fit RHD. Pity that.

I've got one on the lhd SA - feels as good as you'd ever hope it to. Better than the standard replacement I've got on NEV anyway.
