My name is Flavien, I'm french, 31 year old and I live in Aichi-prefecture in Japan (married to a Japanese)
I own an 1985 SA22C, the factory Turbo versions, sligtly modified by RE-Amemyia.
It went from its stock 165hp to maybe around 180 to 190hp with a few very minor mods.
According to RE-Sugyiama who takes care of my car, the transmission does not come from an RX7. No idea where it came from though lol

That's pretty much it for me. I come here to get verious tips from members and maybe find parts that are getting fairly sparse and rare, even here

Welcome, Flavien. Japan is one of my top places I want to visit aye! It looks awesome there. France would also be nice . Have you got any pictures or more info on the mods done at all? It sounds quite interesting

Despite the fact that it's my car, I don't really know what was done to it yet...
I know that it now rev up to 9000 rpm, it is straight pipped, fiberglass hood, no more bumpers (plastic "fairing " only), the transmission doesn't come from an rx7 and it's got a half roll cage. Maybe a small tune also considering that it drinks A LOT more gas than normal lol... Even the door handles have been removed lol, so doors are most likely "Amemiya specials" too lol.
The 180 to 190hp it makes more is just a guesstimation on my part. It made 165hp stock, so a 15 to 25hp seems fair. It feels fast for sure, but it's all I can tell for now.
