if buying an engine that has been laid up like this, what do you need to do to
get it all working?
do you need to turn over by hand a few time to get the apex seals freeing up or use
transmission oil injected into the spark plugs to help unstick possible sticky seals?

If they are Ex MOD you can rest assured they had special Oils that would ensure there would be no internal corrosion all of which needs flushing through, including the cooling system.

so can these be adapted easily to fit into an fb?
i was trying to remember if a rotary engine that has been stored needed filling up with cheap oil.
then its a case of draining it all, replace the spark plugs and fit then try and start.

Guys, if it's had water in it, it'll need stripped and rebuilt with new seals. Putting it straight in a car is asking for trouble.
These are heavily modified. The cars and intake are not Mazda. The alternators are odd too.
The flywheel is also not Mazda. You'll need to replace the flywheel and therefore you need the right one for the counterweight. Who knows what's inside.
These are far from plug and play. These are a good base for a motor or good for parts, assuming there's no water damage.
