FB owner from Pakistan!

Good day, all. Wanted to greet everyone here, and give a little intro, being a newbie here.

I am 38 years of age born in Lahore, Pakistan - been around the world for work related postings, having worked for a container shipping company.

I am now back in my home city and country, operating an automotive workshop and running a small imported lube oil business as well.

Bought myself my dream vehicles when I got back - an E36 (1996 BMW 318i manual tranny, and a 1st gen Mazda RX-7)

While I have exercised the 'purist' approach to the BMW (as able to find parts locally as well as import from nearby places like Dubai)

I could not do the same for the Mazda (unable to import items for its rotary, due in part to companies not shipping to my country, and high customs fees this side of the pond) - request you to all please these facts in mind, not hate as per the usual rotary is better and everything else in the entire world is rubbish)

The idea was to keep this legend of a car on the road for many years to come - thus came the Lexus 1UZFE that currently sits in the vehicle for the past decade; also, completed an upgrade to it over the past year, i.e. a roots type supercharger install.

Here is a photo of my RX7 for everyone's perusal.

Will share some of the build on an appropriate build thread on this forum.

Thanks for reading in!

Best regards,
Ali

Thanks, Ian! 0-0

Looking forward to posting up at least some of the progress on my build.

This picture I shared is from its earlier days after bodywork completed with some fender flares, front & rear bumper amendment, rear spoiler creation, good modification etc.

Now, with the supercharger and ancillaries in place, I currently do not have a hood in place!

Anyhow, will share separately, and perhaps post the link here.

Best regards

Welcome along. What a tidy example you have there. I spy a targa band too ... so much want for one of those  I like the rear spoiler design also, reminds me of the Celica ST162 / ST165

Thanks, KiwiDave!

Rear spoiler was hand crafted using an aluminium sheet! Real talent the dude who made it with me!

More pics to come!

Recently bought these 18's that have a massive depth of 9.5', and this is the first test fit pic I took - shows a bit more of the RX7!

Will post max photos on the build thread (once I am authorized to post, of course)!!

Interesting and nice seven you having there.
Standard 911 Porsche setup.(front/rear exactly same rolling circumference with mixed tires size to get the Anti braking system working)
I drive the same only little bit wider wheels and i am happy how the sportivity and comfort come together. What is your experience with such a old school setup?
Btw speedometer Rx7 S3 shows the correct speed now.
