Peripheral porting, rotor housings & four rotors

I thought I'd post up some information and photos on my work so far for those who are interested.
My initial plan was to simply rebuild the 12A in my RX7 which had low compression but after tearing it down I found the usual problems with rotor housings that had such bad chrome flaking that they were no use at all. After a long process of research and investigation I eventually sourced two good housings (thanks Pete!) but along the way came up with a few ideas I wanted to try. Ultimately I have designed the parts and have started manufacture of a four rotor engine but I'm also working at various options for rotor housings seeing as they are so hard to come by.
First experiments with a weld-in exhaust port sleeve in RX8 housing:
