Reminds me very much of that warm summer night in June 1993 when I drove Gus up the A1 from the Mazda dealer in Barnet.
He had only 75 miles on the clock!
New car smell, as the journalist says......and when I came out of a cafe after a coffee shop I was overwhelmed at the luck that had brought him our way.

But the big plus......apart from the red go-faster stripe..... was that Gus was ours to keep.

Just loving these FB write-ups that are popping up everywhere at the moment :D

Really pleasing to see that Mazda UK are keen to promote the heritage of their cars.
