Hello all,

My front windscreen washers are weak. I have just cleaned the nozzles and replaced all the hoses however no improvement. I think my only options are:

- New pump / motor (perhaps not working to its full potential)
- Tank inlet blocked (will clean tonight)
- New washer nozzles (somehow perhaps these are still blocked)
- Replacement drain back valve (perhaps a system restriction)

Anyone else see the same issue? Managed to fix it?

sometimes the nozzle get blocked with soap / screen washer which limits the flow or as you say, maybe the pump is on it's way out.... I seem to remember that the front and rear washer motors are interchangeable maybe try swapping them over?

Have you checked the plastic 'T' piece under the scuttle plate on S3. Prone to sunlight damage.

Also worth checking the wiring going to the motor? I think mine are actually pretty decent it was the super motor that needed attention...

I replaced the t peice with new along with the hoses. Will try replacing the pump with the one from the rear and check the voltage at the motor.

The head light wager bottle leaks and the pumps rusty so suspect it may be the issue.

Anyone got a bottle and pump they wish to sell??

The windscreen washer and headlamp washer are two separate systems

I will check my spare bin as I think I might have a new one...........

It would be great if you have one. It’s the windscreen washer that I need. Don’t know why I started calling it a headlamp washer.

Hmmm. I wonder why he started calling it a headlamp washer? (Wanders into the kitchen and instantly forgets why he is in there).... I do this with alarming regularity!
