				Cars our parents owned...

Hey guys, my name is Mitch. I have great memories of the FB my dad used to have so I'm looking to get one when I get out of college. And what better way to improve my knowledge about them than joining a forum dedicated solely to them. If I'm lucky I'll be able to track down the very car my dad had using the VIN similar to those sons that surprised their father by tracking down his old '65 Impala SS. If not, starting from scratch and taking it step by step would be fun.

Yeah, welcome along and all that. How cool to have a dad who actually owned good cars. My old man was so tight all we ever had was VW Beetles.....bear in mind that was the 70s waaaaaayyy before Beetles were cool, it was just that they were the cheapest object that came with four wheels that wasn't a pram. Oh, and there was this Wolsey once

Mind, at least you could pretend you were old Bill at night with the little illuminated radiator ornament

Come on, someone must remember all this?

Sorry. *ahem* Welcome

the other posts on this thread have been moved to 'general chat' under 'cars our parents used to own' as the 'parents cars' discussion could run for a bit and we don't want to hijack Mitchs thread.

Now I'll have to follow the link and see what lost stories I've uncovered with my comment.
