I used a De Walt 18 V Impact Gun, takes them off on the middle setting. I can not remember the Torque but it is more than ample

I've got a gun Pete and a big breaker bar but no 54mm socket to go on them... can't think of another way to tighten it up... I loosened it with a cold chisel

Cut the conture out of a steel plate and weld it on the breaker bar!

Fwiw, 55mm socket works just as well at half the price.
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......
