Decided to join to learn more about the fb platform. My name is Robert hobbies are cars, music, gaming and sports. I currently own a 2003 e39 bmw 540i, 1985 chevy c10 short bed soon to be 6.0 ls swapped, 2010 infinity g37s, 1974 260z 1jz swapped just restored. Last but not least 1984 gslse rx7.

The rx7 was my dad's car he has had since i was in high school, im 41 now...lol; on my 40th birthday i decided to do something special and go to Virginia international raceway (VIR) for hyperfest and i had the time of my life then preceded to be hooked by my soon to other hobby, racing.

Thought to myself that i known i need something very light easy to work on and somewhat affordable; so i asked my dad for the rx7, towed it home and got started.

The rx7 was not running, i believe the car has been sitting 15+ years but my dad would make sure it had good coolant in the engine and oil in the housings. So after a day or so i got the 13b running fairly good; i couldn't believe it. It smoked pretty bad at first because of all of the oil we put in the housings; after a while the smoke stopped and the car would idle somewhat ok. Of course every system in the rx7 is stuck not working even the fuel tank had varnish..etc so i ran the car from a gas can.

Currently i have installed a fuel cell, gutted out the car, changed out all of the suspension to coilovers, and adjustable links all around, did the fc front spindle modification with 4 piston calipers up front, 17x9.5 wheels all four coners, sa22c widebody flare kit, lightweight flywheel, custom 2.5 exhaust...and more..all the work has been myself with help from family of course. Thanks for letting me share what im working on.
