good doors wanted

Post by sos »

Hello All
looking for two good doors for s2 restoration. anything better than what i have now will be considered. able to travel to most areas to collect.
Or if you have seen any good ones at any breakers yard please let me know
this is what i have now.
drivers door is completely shot, door flexes when opened and is out of shape at bottom edge. has been filled in the past and is extensively corroded.
passenger door, although corrosion looks worst than drivers door this door is still in shape and repair may be possible but i would prefer to fit a good door.
some pics attached

Hey, for anything 1st gen related you need to contact Tim at rx motors - google him for phone number he's in my neck of the woods in Dorset. He's got an aladdins cave of everything you might need. 8-) I definitely know he's got doors as I bought one not long ago.

Yeah, +1 for Tim. One of life's genuine eccentrics but he knows eveything (and usually stocks everything) rotary. Ring rather than email, though lol. He's heard of email but doesn't apparently see why he should ecnourage it ;) http://www.rxmotors.co.uk/epages/BT3236.sf

Yeah, the website was quite comprehensive, although you generally had to ring him about stuff and then order it through the site anyway once he knew verbally what you wanted  . He had it all re-developed a while back and it even looked the part, but maybe he's decided it's too much hassle to maintain now?
