Re: Beehive banjo thread ?
Just so you know, the oil pump is at the front of the engine, so with the layout you described, the flow path is out from the front iron, via the front oil cooler, then to the beehive, then the filter and then into the rear iron. I don't really see any benefits of running the beehive, just more weig...

Yeah I remember chatting to him after it got broken into, shame he let copart take it away and into the auctions rather than demand it not be written off and take a settlement and sell it on as a project, or get it repaired privately. As soon as it goes through the insurance write off route it will ...

Not been very good at posting much on here. I have done the silverstone international and donington rounds, and I have just booked the Castle Combe round on 3rd August, again there will be a livestream on the CSCC youtube!

Re: KIMI - Series 2/3 Hybrid
LRB makes aluminium brake ducts, but I don't bother with them, just bin them if they're rusty. My race car doesn't have any brake ducts, so I don't see why brake cooling ducts would ever be needed on the road. Front undertray is important though and I would always recommend using one, and a fibregla...

Re: S4 Starter motor in S3
Looking great vic, I'm very jealous of the aircon! Talking belts, I much prefer the shorty belt set up to dual sheave pulley on the alternator. I've shredded/thrown belts and been stranded by the stock and dual belt set up, and just generally noticed one belt never stays tensioned of the two and had...

Re: Sunroof less roof skin
You'll have to import a roof skin cut from another country as all UK S2/3 cars had sunroofs. S1s didn't, but realistically you wont find one. You're best off having a patch panel welded in, or getting a carbon roof skin from Sam carr, which is the easiest to fit realistically.

Re: Would these fit?
How do you want them to fit? Do you want rim and tyre poking outside the arch? How low is it and what mods? Do you run coilovers, camber plates, rolled arches, arch liners removed or trimmed? Do you want a more stock fitment or more of a show car/stance fitment? Do you want big balloon tyres like st...
