Re: 12a aftermarket exhaust manifold

Hi Dan,

If it's still around, what would the shipping be to 61157 Nyköping, Sweden?
Or, how much does it weigh, and what are the dimension (in case I should just look it up myself)

Re: Ultimate fb race car

That car was built in Sweden and raced successfully for a long time by Mikael Mohlin and has tube frame and as you say a 13b PP.

It was sold a few years back since Mikael decided to prioritize his family and other things over the racing.

Re: JDM 12A turbo engine and gearbox

hehe... Im looking at a £11.000 quote for some work on the house... not much left to spend on long term rx7 projects this year... Besides... It would probably be illegal with our MOT rules to fit that engine since it was never certified in sweden, which means that I would have to basicly build a new...

Re: Limited Slip Diff

Little to no progress lately. Im stuck trying to learn enough CAD to understand the complexity of designing gears and splines and taking that drawing all the way to the mill/lathe. If anyone with microfiche copies can dig out the part number for the 24 spline side gears and contact your best mazda p...

Re: Set of S2 rear calipers

It's nowhere near as bad as people who haven't owned one make out. If you go for a good street able sized Bridgeport and don't go crazy with a super light flywheel and 10 ton clutch you'll be fine. The tune can make a big difference too. I drove mine round inner London all the time. Had a bal...

Re: Set of S2 rear calipers

little low end torque?
would mean high revs and low gear to cruise round town and that makes it not problematic but i imagine it takes some effort?

This is entirely based on "what they say" and "what ive heard".. please tell me im wrong I would love to run a BP

Re: Set of S2 rear calipers

I've never tried a BP but wouldn't that take away from the driving in town or low speed areas?

And I think fitting a LSD was smart considering the wheelbase and the effect of a bridgeport...
