It might be the switch. it's fairly common and I've suffered the issue on two FBs. It's fairly easy to remove the switch, dismantle it carefully, clean out all the muck you'll find in there and re-assemble. Interesting, KIMI 2 (S2) bucked very noticeably on throttle lift-off, and I couldn't find a solution, so normally just changed down a gear.

KIMI 3 (S3) does it too, but not so noticeably.

Did some more plating of spare carb pieces and other bits - reasonably happy with results. Yellow passivation better than my previous attempts!
