Here's the MRC link.

David Stiles wanted £2500, so lets say it went for £2250???? Add £700 and there's your car and classic price.

(and profit!)
It looks a nice car for £2500 and I'd probably consider it if I was after a 1st gen.... I wouldn't go to 3 grand though... it would have to be truly exceptional for that price

Thats the one car I now regret not buying an Elford turbo, but I do have to say I'm not to keen on the side skirts. I may even entertain fitting one to my car, thats if I could get one.

it's never too late Dibs!
the beauty of the Elford setup is that it's just bolt on, bolt off ... without any bodywork or irreversible mods.
If you can drop on an elford setup, you can fit it to your own engine and if you tag and label the stuff you take off, you can always return the car to standard... not that you'd want to once you've driven it turbo'd! I really transforms the power delivery.
it's actually a very simple and easy conversion and having done it once and got it straight in my own mind, I could do the complete conversion in a weekend if I was to do it again.. I suppose I should put a step by step guide on the forum really.

I'm with you on the side skirts... I can't make my mind up if I like them or not... I've always had an aversion to bodykits on cars... remember the disasters driving around in the 80's with them on? ... horrible!
Having said that, the Elford spoilers and skirts are some of the nicest I've seen.
I'd buy some side skirts if I could, just so that I owned the full kit but whether I'd actually put them on the car.... I dunno.
