Weather strips

Post by DelMonte »

Just so happened to be in Orlando, FL on business and managed to snag these off ebay (saved on the shipping and import tax). They were only 45 mins away from where I'm staying, so free shipping! They arrive later today......

Anyway, has anyone had any experience fitting them as they have mentioned about some 3M Weather strip adhesive. Do I need some, or if it's a good fit, will the clips be OK? I didn't order with the strips, so wonder if I can get anything similar in the UK?

Nice find :)

They fit in the grooves in the top of the door frame, and there are plenty of fitting clips around the lower part. You shouldn't need anything else ;)

I just spent a good chunk of change on all new rubber seals for the entire car, myself. Hoping for no more leaks, no more wind noise!

Thanks for the replies gents.

I'll give them a go if it stops raining without sealant. I suppose I could always remove and seal if it doesn't work.

Cheers,
