Ian was your S1 reg in 1980.
Being an anorak,my S1 was 1979 & it did'nt have to have a rear foglight or reflectors on the rear lights.

Wish i still had mine!

I might have put the fog light on myself... I can't remember now but it was the kind of daft thing I did when I was 22!

Mind you on my 1st S3,i'll use my young years as an excuse i fitted 2 brake lights to the inside of the glass hatch at the top,thought they looked well cool,big chunky lights in those days similar looking to your foglight,taste deffo gets better with advancing years.

That sunroof looks the same as my one too,wonder if mazda fitted them,to me they look aftermarket compared to the ones fitted on later cars.
4 spoke steering wheel looks better in S1's too.

Is that a S2/S3 spoiler on the rear?

If i'd of had a double garage i'd of kept the S1 & fitted electronic ignition,have'nt changed contact breakers for over 20 years & would'nt want to either!

I wonder if RX Motors still have that gunmetal s1?

No further news of it since Feb when it was last for sale. Remember it's LHD though. (Ex Sweden or Switzerland - never did establish which).

Tim also has a nice looking Blue S3 with a smart Number Plate. He wants serious money for it though.

It's still there £1500 + vat i think.
A guy off mrc has seen it reckons no rust,but needs a respray,remarkable for a car from sweden.
RX motors used to have a white S1,can't see it now.

Read on another forum rotary arts black S1 may be off to the states,he had a white S1 too,can't find that now either.

It would'nt be too hard to do this.
Find r/h drive rack & use rest of steering parts.
The dash,now there's a problem,trying to source one of them!
