I'm not to worried for now as if I put one in it will only restrict the flow to the intercooler anyways which it will get later on in the year..

Looking good, Your bonnet is exactly what I have in mind for mine. Do you mind posting or pm me pictures of the underside of it. Curious because you manage to center the t2 scoop, the ones that i've seen are offcenter to the carb side.Is it all fiber? Don't get me wrong is just that I found what i've been looking for, and wanna know the details to make it myself.
Oh by the way, Do you have an extra pair of front bumper or bar indicators that you don't need for sale? How much with shipping to US(44130). Love the look on your bonnet!!!!!!!!

Re: My New Project - 85 S3 FB
with 15min to spare today i thought i would run up the 6 port only to have a flat battery as i forgot to turn off the battery key and with the cold weather and me not running it up since january it needed a charge.
what i did notice is how this paint ont he car actually changes in a matter of a few min and the light... it either is satin pearly finish of a bright yellow...

steering is back in and just need to get some time to finish off small interior things and then toy with the weber a tad more and we are on the road and need to bed in the fd brakes and give it a shake down and once over..
Throwing the number plates on its getting that tad closer to the road so looking good for summer and next project over summer is porting some new bridge plates and the turbo motor going in

No Ian I drilled through both and used some big split pins and heat shrink over the top..
I'm thinking on the front ill need to get some 185s stretched onto the rims or go mega camber on the front to fit the 205s better - not really happy with just on/ under 5mm between tyre and coil over.

Re: My New Project - 85 S3 FB
So over the last few months I haven't touched the fb at all - had the motor and Ida for sale but didn't have any keen parties so I've decided to keep the 6 port in till winter when the new turbo motor will go.. I've cleaned up the exhaust ports to a known Aussie spec and will also clean up the large extend port I did a while back and also sourced a smaller rear turbo housing..
Finally cleaned out the car after sorting mum head light and dash light issue to only be struck down by suspension and steering issues. Hope to get the wheel alignment and coil over clearance sorted this weekend and the car will be given a once over before its first real drive in 5+ years...
Hope to be able to go to an event this year if I can get a break from work and daddy duties
Here's a few pics of what I've been up to of late..
