So, gold mesh turned out to be more pinky orange, but I ended up finding another pair. Really sweet wheels and fit perfectly on the front. But I'm not totally convinced the champ/mesh works. Would probably work if the fb was on its hole, but I want it actually drivable! Might look a bit better with 65 tyres on the rear, like stock.

Looks OK to me, though I agree the rears could maybe do with a slightly deeper profile tyre on to fill the arches out a bit more?

Yeah, more I look at it the more I like it. Just the arch gap that is putting me off I reckon.

Definitely an option man. I'll be getting the stock rims refurbished regardless, just trying out different things at the minute!

I must be a boring old fart to :D
Rears look a bit lost and the fronts remind me of a vauxhall cavalier cdi (yes I did have one  )
Life would be dull if we were all the same though !

When you're only wearing one pair of meshies they always seem to look better on the back and the spoked on the front. They do on mine anyway, I tried them the other way round and looked odd(er).

Yeah, I have agree with you there, it's just that the offset of the champs is much lower than the mesh and an inch thinner, so would probably look odd reversed. The stock wheels will be going back on until I need new tyres anyway ;-)
